What's the Story?
BEYOND BELIEF: FACT OR FICTION is an anthology series that presents stories that feature strange or supernatural phenomena, and then asks viewers to decide which ones are based on real life. Hosted by James Brolin, and later Jonathan Frakes, each installment features actor portrayals of five "cases" that describe the appearance of ghosts, psychic events, and other inexplicable occurrences. At the end of each episode the host reveals which stories are based on actual events, and which ones are complete fabrications.
Is It Any Good?
This fun and eerie series features lots of odd and often creepy stories designed to make viewers question the kinds of things that can happen in real life. Some of Beyond Belief's tales offer your traditional ghost and haunting narratives, where people come in contact with phenomena from the beyond for specific or unexplained reasons. Others reveal situations that result in uncanny coincidences that will get audiences thinking a little more. It isn't the most intellectual of shows, but Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction will certainly entertain those who enjoy the mysterious and supernatural.
