Decent movie for young teens, If you are ok with your kid seeing some blood fly then you have nothing to worry about
the movie is cool but too suspicious
apparently I watched the movie bodies it was good but It's a little basic kinda like among us and murder mystery 2 it's also from A24 that made Midsommar a movie that has sex in it
What's the Story?
During a hurricane, childhood best friends Sophie (Amandla Stenberg) and David (Pete Davidson) throw a party at a remote family mansion with a group of their closest buddies. While playing a seemingly juvenile murder mystery game called BODIES BODIES BODIES, the group discovers a real-life dead body. With a killer in their midst, their friendships are tested and lines are drawn. Can they find the murderer before it's too late?
Is It Any Good?
Phenomenally written, perfectly cast, and expertly directed, director Halina Reijn's murder mystery is crafted with such magnificence that she leaves Agatha Christie choking in her dust. Not since Scream has a horror comedy so successfully captured the zeitgeist.
Made for Gen Z -- specifically, those who feel defined by Euphoria -- this razor-sharp comedy laughs with them, not at them. Screenwriters Sarah DeLappe and Kristen Roupenian characterize the generation as righteousness meets recklessness, emboldened by living in a progressive environment and weakened by their blindness to their own entitlement. The film is shocking, not for its violence or terror, but for its truthfulness. This is no slasher film where you find yourself yelling at dumb teenagers not to go into the basement -- it's one where you relate to their actions so much that you question your own judgment. Bodies Bodies Bodies is smart comedy and honest horror.
Talk to Your Kids About ...
Families can talk about the violence in Bodies, Bodies, Bodies. How did it make you feel? Was it exciting? Shocking? What did the movie show or not show to achieve this effect? Why is that important?
Does the movie glamorize drugs, drinking, and vaping? If the partygoers hadn't been under the influence, do you think that would have changed anything?
How does Bodies Bodies Bodies compare to other murder mysteries you've seen? What makes it different?
Women wrote, directed, and produced this film with the specific intention of creating culturally relevant entertainment with a female perspective. Do you think they were successful?
Talk about the movie's outcome. What could have been done to prevent the murders?
