Obviously not for kids.

The entire point of the show is to mock superhero media. It's a satire. And obviously kids shouldn't be watching it. The body count's high and the gore is extreme, with heads being blown up, jaws and faces being ripped off, and lots of blood, it's gruesome. Sex is also a pretty constant thing in the show. One characters backstory is that Homelander raped his wife. Penis' and boobs are shown throughout the show, and there are sex scenes, but they don't show nudity. The Deep tries to get Starlight to perform oral sex on him. Porn is also shown in an episode. One episode takes place at the annual "Herogasm". Also, drugs are used alot. Lot's of smoking and drinking. Characters in season 3 use a drug to give them temporary superpowers. Drugs like cocaine and weed are in the show rarely. Superpowers are caused by giving people a drug called Compound V when they are babies. Once they grow up, they can use the same drug to enhance their powers. Also tons of swearing. Everything from damn to c--t. It's an incredibly inappropriate show that even jokes that it isn't suitable for anyone, but it is a great show. The story is interesting, the characters are also interesting, and the comedy/drama mixes very well. But DON'T let kids watch.

Great show for teens if you can handle lots of gore , cursing , sex scenes , drugs etc , however if not - would not recommend

Best show I’ve ever watched, don’t listen to these adults

Some of these adult reviews don’t focus on how amazing the show actually is and is focused on the gore being “too much” it’s a show get over yourself this show is the best show I’ve ever watched and I’m so glad I finished it, the character development and the way a character can die at any second really shows how unpredictable and insane it is, watch this if ur 13-14+ this review is coming from a 17 Yo

not for kids under 14 too much sex, great charecter developmaent though

This show is 3 seasons long, each season gets better and better as time goes on but also more inappropriate, it features male and female nudity, and a lot of gore but the action is really cool i just had to fast forward the nudity. however, this show is on my top 5 show list in between the last of us and stranger things

Addicting but gross

I have been watching this show since its release and I got to say as a Tarantino fan I love it. No this isn't a Tarantino show but it gives off a similar vibe which should tell you something. (Here is a glimpse of the content in the show) Within the first couple minutes of the show a "hero" slides through a girl standing in the street which pretty much causes her to shred into tiny pieces of organs, but that isn't even the worst of the show because later in that episode the main protagonists go to a hangout club which was a scene including way to many sexual to themes for anyone under fifteen to watch. In a following season an Ant-Man type character shrinks into someone's p**** then grows to normal size exploding the other guys entire torso. One thing that can level with the shows gag-worthy kills is the amount of seduction in the show, I mean I was on my knees when in the first episode a hero convinces another to give him a b*** ***. I understand that the previous statements were very deep and gory but the show is just so damn addicting, and well written to stop watching. Diffidently pull a late nighter to watch.

Good criticism of corporate America and how corrupt and hypocritical Christian and political organizations are. There is some sex, and nudity and I think some of those scenes can be skipped if you don't want to see that. Overall not too bad, very gory.

Not for young viewers!

The show is good just horribly graphic + tons of swears + racist characters + sex + substance use. Really good just not suitable at all for youger viewers!

The Boys, is amazons best original show, with great characters, a great story and a great idea to back it, although it can sometimes be violent just for the sake of being violent. I loved this show all the way through and cant wait for season 3.

Great show, but hyperviolent, mature, tons of violent, and fully of nudity in a satire take on superheroes.

First off, I have seen both seasons of this show. I really loved it. Hands down better then all the Marvel films I have seen. But the violence in this show isn't the type that teens are used to in typical games such as Doom Eternal, Mortal Kombat 11, etc. In this show peoples heads, torsos, and other body parts pop. Also, in this show people are sliced in half, ripped in half, get their heads ripped off, splattered, etc. Many scenes with gory instances will shock Kids, and tweens, because this show is meant to express a shock factor through violence. Otherwise, the show is great. This show has extremely filthy profanity. Not the type of profanity you hear in Middle School, but worse. The word C**t is used very frequently through both seasons, so is tw**. Whoever can handle this show in its entirety, I really recommend you to watch. 95/100 overall score.
