What's the Story?
In OM NOM STORIES, the title character is a lovable green cartoon blob that doesn't talk and lives in a world that's sometimes live action, but mostly cartoon. Om Nom spends all their time trying to capture beloved red and white candy.
Is It Any Good?
In these silly and nonverbal micro-episodes, the main character's endearing antics are reminiscent of a kinder, gentler version of Minions. Om Nom Stories' storylines all follow the same pattern: Om Nom wants something, encounters a few silly problems getting it, then gets the object (then often shares it). While enjoyable for very young viewers, the brief episodes won't contribute to building attention spans. Additionally, the inclusion of a topless ancient statue in one episode seems oddly misaligned with the intended toddler and preschool audiences.
Talk to Your Kids About ...
Families can talk about how willing Om Nom is to share their candy. Why is sharing important?
Talk about the fact that Om Nom doesn't talk in this show. Does that make you like it more or less? How come?
