What's the Story?
SUPERPOWERED: THE DC STORY shares how the DC Universe's success was born out of an idea from writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster. The two created the character Superman, which became an overnight hit. Later Batman and Wonder Woman were created and found global appeal. From 1978 to present day, over 100 animated and live-action films have brought the beloved DC Comics characters to life. Actors, artists, producers, and directors share the significance the characters have and the moral lessons they've learned from them. The creative team looks toward the future at diverse superheroes and spotlighting marginalized voices and stories.

This docuseries proves that comics aren't just for kids. Superpowered: The DC Story shares the long-lasting and highly influential legacy of DC Comics.
