Best Studio Ghibli movie ever
Great story and beautiful animation. My boys 10 and 13 loved it. There are some intense parts that may be scary to younger kids but overall a great family movie.

My family really wanted to like this movie but the interesting premise of the story was overshadowed by just constant extreme violent scenes. My kids (10 and 13) described it as "it is violent to the point of boredom" because it was so predictable on when the shooting scenes would happen. It really is just a war movie but with robots.

Best Titanic Movie
IMO, this movie is superior to Cameron's Titanic. There is no cheesy love story main plot or fancy spacial effects, just different characters coming to terms to with the sinking facts (pun intended) and really high production for the times this movie was made. Even though it is a B&W movie, don't let that discourage you from watching this excellent, well acted and yes very sad, haunting story. There is a message at the end about how the Titanic sinking actually changed maritime laws to prevent these tragedies from happening again.

Review sketches before showing to kids
SNL has its good years and its off years. It has indeed gotten more political than it should be and I think the trump impressions are pretty tired by now. The man is a corrupt clown all on his own so making skits based on the stupid things he says and does feels pretty lazy. I wish they would come up with new material and balance the more mature audience with some just innocent fun (more cowbell!)
