What's the Story?

Adapted from the British series of the same name, THE 1% CLUB features contestants hoping to get a chance to correctly answer a question only 1% of Americans can get right and win up to $100K. Host Patton Oswalt asks 100 players seated in a giant circle 15 logic-based questions that they must answer correctly to stay in the game. Each player has $1000 that they can use to purchase a "lifeline" to help them stay in the game or pocket it if they walk away, thus reducing the pot of winnings. Those who answer incorrectly are immediately eliminated and their money is put in the pot. The final contestant(s) who make(s) it to the final question must answer it correctly in order to win the cash prize.

The easy-going game features contestants answering questions that require them to think logically and problem solve. Throughout the rounds of questions, host Patton Oswalt takes center stage and banters with players who are spotlighted with his unique comic edge. Also part of the fun is trying to solve the questions, some of which are more challenging than others, while watching. Overall, The 1% Club is a contest that will appeal to folks who enjoy winning with brain power.
