This coming-of-age tale has an interesting mystery and features a charming retro "rubber hose" art style (see: Cuphead). Unicorn: Warriors Eternal is a series that asks what it means to grow up. When something goes wrong with the Unicorns' most recent reincarnation, they're placed into the bodies of teenagers. Confused and weakened, the heroes try to figure out their place in the universe in the face of their dutybound past and important responsibilities. It's also interesting and refreshing to see a modern take on the rubber hose animation style most identifiable in old cartoons like Betty Boop and Popeye, and see it being used to tell a more contemporary story.
