What's the Story?
THE MAN WITH 1000 KIDS tells the story of a Dutch man who donated to sperm banks worldwide, fathering over 1,000 children while lying to the recipients. It covers the psychological and legal ramifications for the families and children involved. It also exposes the lack of regulation in sperm banks and the ways the system can be taken advantage of for darker purposes.
Is It Any Good?
This docuseries presents a stunning tale of deception that goes beyond the actions of just one man. The Man with 1000 Kids effectively lays out the numerous traumas caused by Jonathan Jacob Meijer and explores his possible dark motives. In doing so, the series highlights the abuses of power made possible by the lack of international regulations for sperm banks. It's a tale with many twists and turns, including a shocking revelation in the second episode that will keep viewers riveted.
