Advocacy Project Coordinator
Washington, D.C. (preferred); hybrid
Reports to: Senior Director, Advocacy Campaigns
Salary Range: $22–$26/hour
The Advocacy Project Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating a broad range of projects and initiatives for the Advocacy team. In this role, you will coordinate communications with internal and external stakeholders, monitor legislative and regulatory developments at the state and federal levels, keep track of progress toward organizational metrics, and help execute tactics for the Advocacy team. You will also provide ongoing administrative support to the Advocacy team.
Chief of Staff

Reports to: CEO
Salary Range: $111,200–$132,050
The Chief of Staff will directly support and partner with the CEO. They will work across multiple levels of Common Sense to drive key organization-wide and external-facing projects and manage the Office of the CEO, including staff. This is a highly visible role that partners with the CEO and our executive leadership team to foster communication across the entire organization, manage relationships with external stakeholders and executives, and lead impactful initiatives.

Salary Range: $140,000 - $160,000
The Data Integration Architect will play the lead role in designing, developing, and implementing a comprehensive back-end data architecture that enables seamless integration and communication between numerous applications and systems.

Common Sense is a nonprofit organization giving kids, families, and schools the tools to make informed choices about media and technology. Families know us for our independent, age-based reviews of movies, TV shows, books, games, podcasts and apps. Educators use our free curriculum and edtech reviews to plan lessons and integrate technology into their teaching practice. At our core, we are a children's advocacy group. We draw on original research, industry expertise, and community partnerships to advocate for laws and policies that help kids thrive.
